Two weeks after New Years, the call came, "Uhm, you remember that value-engineering proposal? Do you think you'd be interested in coming down to the office and going over that with us? The Client says the project is way over budget." Okay.
Two years later, having since sat with their engineers and architects on the design and construction of multiple successful dealerships throughout Southern California since that first one, a PM was enthusiastically reviewing ideas on the phone with me regarding a new Nissan dealership...."Hey, you're our 'ace-in-the-hole' ", he said. Okay.
