Engineered Framing Systems began in 1999 with belief in the powers of innovation and customer service and commitment to excellence. John and Tim’s fathers were friends in the 1960s. John and Tim shot pool together in their youth. By 1998, John, with his contractor’s license, had a significant following of loyal journeymen as head foreman for the largest framing contractors in California. Tim, with a professional engineer’s license, had a strong reputation among engineers and architects throughout the Southwest for expertise in economical construction. It was a natural fit. The new company entered the marketplace with instant credibility.

The very first job was re-engineered to reduce the Owner’s cost while meeting all of the Building Code requirements. These many years later, EFS has worked on thousands of Buildings, many of them value engineered, not a few of them engineered from ground up. Tim and John approach each project with respect for the Owner’s money and belief that there is a best way to build the Owner’s Building.
